Fabric Cutter

 

Full Time  |  In person  |  Hours: 6 am – 2:30 pm | Schedule: Monday-Friday W/ Occasional Overtime as Needed |  South Boston, VA

Garnier Thiebaut, USA is looking for someone with great attention to detail to join us in South Boston, Virginia as a Fabric Cutter. 

 Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Measuring and cutting rolls of fabric, bed linens, and/or tablecloths to the correct length and width to produce custom-size products for customers
  • Putting away fabric and pulling fabric rolls from the location on paperwork
  • Unpack and repack items and remove labels as needed
  • Keeping the area clean and taking out trash as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be able to read tape measure correctly and accurately
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) to South Boston, VA 24592

HR Assistant

Garnier Thiebaut Inc. is looking to employ an HR Assistant with outstanding administrative and communication skills to join our team in Arlington, Virginia

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

•                    Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.

•                    Maintain personnel records, ensuring information is up-to-date.

•                    Process commission payments once a month.

•                    Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors.

•                    Assist with the recruitment process by advertising open positions on relevant job board, identifying suitable candidates, scheduling interviews and issuing employment contracts. 

•                    Assist managers with onboarding.

•                    Assist with performance management procedures and practices.

•                    Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.

•                    Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.

•                    Document HR metrics and report to senior management to support strategic decisions.

•                    Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.

•                    Update company’s policy handbook.

•                    Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.

•                    Other HR and Recruitment duties and responsibilities as requested or desire.

Engage with stakeholders across the organization to identify data quality needs and requirements and enforce corrections.

Key Qualifications:

•                    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related (essential).

•                    1-2 years of experience as an HR Assistant (essential).

•                    Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.

•                    Effective HR administration and people management skills.

•                    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•                    Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

•                    Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related tools.

•                    Fantastic organizational and time management skills.

•                    Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

•                    Meticulous attention to detail.

•                    Able to work independently or as part of a team

•                    Experience working with Netsuite

Digital Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager is in charge of the E-store and planning and managing the marketing campaigns that promote a company’s brand, products, and services. The responsibility includes planning the campaigns, analyzing the metrics and identifying trends as well as monitoring the website.  

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:  

-          Design and oversee all aspects of our digital marketing department, including our website, our marketing database, email, and all campaigns

-          Develop and monitor campaigns and website budgets

-          Update and animate the retail E-store

-          Plan and manager our social media platforms

-          Prepare accurate reports on our marketing campaigns’ overall performance

-          Coordinate with all teams to improve marketing results

-          Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry 

-          Evaluate important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience as well as managing our website

-          Work with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies

-          Oversee and manage all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects

Key Qualifications:

-          Bachelor degree or more

-          At least 2 years proven successful experience in a digital marketing position

-          Excellent oral and writing skills

-          Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

-          In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics

-          Ability to manage a project with a lead example and method to engage internal resources and teams

E-Commerce Quality Control Assistant

Garnier Thiebaut, USA is looking for someone with great attention to detail to assist in maintaining and improving the quality of entered data on various platforms, as well as develop and improve processes and standards across the organization.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

  • · Review online product catalogs for accuracy, address inaccuracies and assist in creating online products.
  • · Maintain accurate inventory levels on various platforms
  • · Review and maintain customers information
  • · Review transactions for accuracy using pre-built reports
  • · Review pre-built reports
  • · Assist in maintaining current corporate social responsibility certification (CSR)
  • · Assist in developing and executing processes and procedures, as well as reporting related to CSR

Engage with stakeholders across the organization to identify data quality needs and requirements and enforce corrections.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with basic MS Excel formulas and functionalities: IF, VLOOKUP, Conditional formatting, Pivot tables etc. + basic understanding of data structure and tables
  • Self-driven with ability to organized and prioritize tasks
  • Experience with the following platforms is a plus but not required: NetSuite, Magento, Amazon Seller Central, Markettime, ECOVADIS, Big Commerce
